Believe it or not – we want your opinion! Your family may not want it and we really doubt that your next door neighbor does but we sure do. This website is all about sharing the knowledge on what is out there in the world of ‘green’ today.

Not everyone agrees, but a large portion of us feel that the environment is being mistreated and disrespected to the point of irreversible damage. There are a lot of us that want to make changes in our lives that can make a difference and be a part of the solution to this problem. My favorite quote from Mahatma Gandhi simply states “You must be the change that you want to see in the world”. There are many of us ready to do just that. We know something is wrong with our beautiful planet and that the way we’ve all lived our lives up until now is what has caused the damage. Although we know we need to do something (and soon), we are left scratching our heads wondering where to start. There are so many products to choose from and so many new labels and claims so where do you start? What is truly an environmentally friendly (EF) product and what isnt? What really does work and what doesn't? It’s pretty confusing, isn’t it? We’re here to help. Actually – we’re here to help you all help each other.Well, friends….. let’s start here, shall we?

HERE’S HOW THIS WORKS:

This is about sharing the knowledge. There will be products listed on the site under several different categories. For example – you’ll find household cleaners on the REDUCE page and you’ll most likely find a book or other publication under the RESOURCE page. Some have been submitted by the companies that supply the product to the world but most have been ‘suggested’ by reviewers such as yourself. There will also be products on here available for purchase (hey – we need to pay our bills, too!) The real test of an item comes after it’s been purchased by you, the consumer. We want to hear about the products that you’ve tried. Did you love them? Maybe you thought they were a big waste of money? Did they work at all? Were they really as environmentally friendly (EF) as they claim to be? What would you change about the product? Would you recommend them to a friend? Your opinion really does matter… and we want to hear it! Go to the PRODUCT REVIEW section and tell us what you think.

Your opinion is not the only thing that we want from you! We’re giving you the opportunity to post PHOTOS of your family, organization or community doing something to make a difference for the environment….. here’s your chance to be a shining example to all! In the GO LOCAL section we are looking for information on recycle centers, enviro-friendly organizations, farmers markets, etc in your area. Remember – this is all about sharing the knowledge and making it easier for everyone to make a difference! Last, but certainly not least, we also want you to share quick little tips with all of us in the LEAVE A TIP section. Go ahead – impress us with something from that handy-dandy bag of tricks you use around your house by submitting a tip and we’ll give away a nice little prize for the best tip submitted each month!
